Kidney disease and its consequences for oral health

Kidney problems affecting the ability of the body to cleanse the blood and therefore needs a machine to help the body to perform this task. This process is called dialysis. People with disabilities often face problems with a bad taste in the mouth. They suffer from bad breath is called halitosis. Halitosis is the result when the body can not eliminate the toxin called the urea in the blood. The urea is converted into ammonia, which give the stinking smell.
